Slone Architects Inc. designed a 10,215-square-foot branch for The Maries County Bank. The $3.8 million project features two stories and a basement with drive-up canopies for a teller lane and ATM. The metal hip roof is accented by two colors of brick featured in the two-story columns flanking the entrance. Federal Construction Inc. is the general contractor, with engineering work by Cochran Engineering, civil; Bergman Engineering LLC, structural; and Latifi Engineering, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The project is slated for completion in June 2021.
Missouri State University’s science building, built in 1971 and formerly called Temple Hall, is being reconstructed and updated.
