Project description: Bryan Properties LLC plans to open a new hotel near downtown Springfield this fall, pushed back from its original summer target opening, officials with Crossland Construction said. The four-story, 98-room Tru by Hilton sits on a lot previously occupied by six houses, which were demolished to make way for the project. There are more than 75 Tru hotels operating across the country. With one in St. Louis, the Springfield property will be the brand’s second in Missouri.
