Earlier this month, St. Louis County sent inaccurate tax bills to around 15,300 residential property owners.
The county mistakenly prepared bills for the Metropolitan Sewer District at a tax rate of 60 cents per $100 instead of 6 cents per $100.
Corrected tax bills have started mailing out. Residents can get a refund or apply overpayments to next year's tax bill.
