STL convention center expansion begins

After more than four years in the works, an expansion to St. Louis' downtown convention center has started.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held Tuesday for the $210 million expansion project.

The expansion of America’s Center has been held up by myriad factors, including rising construction costs and political feuds, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
