Springfield company ranks 3rd on Inc. 5000 Midwest

A Springfield health care technology management company ranked No. 3 in the Midwest on the annual Inc. 5000 Regionals list.

Capital i LLC is one of three Springfield companies ranked in the Midwest, according to the fast-growth list from Inc. magazine. The list ranks companies based on percentage revenue growth 2019-21, but sales were not disclosed.

Epic Strategies came in at No. 103, with OMG Commerce LLC at No. 154.

Capital i recorded 2019-21 revenue growth of 5,714%, according to the list. The company's website lists its top executives and co-founders as CEO Tony Danko and Chief Operating Officer Shon McManus.

"Congratulations to our entire team – we are so grateful for all the hard work you have put in," company officials said in a Facebook post about the Inc. 5000 ranking. "Here's to another year of providing world-class health care through the implementation of our effective HTM solutions."

Epic Strategies, a Springfield marketing agency, recorded a revenue increase of 160% 2019-21, according to the list.

"When I founded Epic Strategies in 2016, my goal was to build a company that was constantly evolving, leveraging digital technology to help clients connect with customers and succeed in business," CEO Nathan Adams said in a news release. “The Inc. 5000 Regionals is a testament to the hard work of our employees to make that happen.”

The company now has 70 employees throughout the United States and Europe, up from seven three years ago.

OMG Commerce had 2019-21 revenue growth of 95%, according to the list.

The e-commerce and digital marketing firm recorded 2020 revenue of $7.4 million, according to past reporting.

No. 1 in the Midwest is Lenexa, Kansas-based consumer products business Hardbody Supplements LLC, which posted 2019-21 revenue growth of 22,379%, according to the list.
