Springfield company makes Inc. magazine list of best workplaces

Springfield-based OMG Commerce LLC is named on Inc. magazine's annual list of the best workplaces.

The e-commerce and digital marketing firm is the only southwest Missouri company on the list, which is not ranked. The other eight Missouri companies on the list are in the Columbia, Kansas City and St. Louis markets.

"Culture is the foundation of every decision our leaders make, every conversation we have and every action we take," OMG Commerce officials said in the company's Inc. profile. "Our cultural values aren't always instinctive for all personalities or easy to maintain in difficult situations, so our systems are designed to trigger conversations and actions that integrate our values into our processes and communication."

Inc. magazine partnered with Quantum Workplace to audit applicants and survey nearly 150,000 employees. The report found that flexibility and accommodating workers' needs, particularly in benefits and perks, were common themes among the honorees.

Earlier this year, OMG Commerce ranked No. 154 on the annual Inc. 5000 Regionals list. The company last year was No. 2,234 on the annual Inc. 5000 fast-growth list.
