Project description: Nixa Public Schools is making improvements to its high school stadium. Updates include a new grandstand, which increases capacity to over 3,200 fans, and a 10-room press box with restrooms and an elevator. Officials say the design includes dedicated visitors and home fan entrances, along with handicap parking, restrooms and concession stands. Dake Wells Architecture Inc. is the project architect, with engineering work by Mettemeyer Engineering LLC, structural; Shaffer & Hines Inc., civil; and CJD Engineering LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
