Slone Architects PC is the project architect for a new 11,000-square-foot, two-story building for Alton Bank. Slone officials say the exterior materials primarily will be brick and natural limestone, with the roof featuring stepped fascia to complement the regional architectural. The project cost, with the purchase of the land and interior furnishings, is estimated at $6.5 million. Federal Construction Inc. is the general contractor, while engineering work is handled by Overland Engineering LLC (West Plains), civil; Tom Edelman Engineering, structural; and Latifi Engineering, mechanical. The project is expected to be completed by January 2021.
