Project description: The 55 and older independent living community has a planned summer opening on 9 acres a mile east of the U.S. Highway 65 and State Highway CC interchange. The development features seven all-brick buildings with 13 two-bedroom units and 34 one-bedroom units, said Dianne Rankin, operations director for Morelock Builders. It also has a community building. H Design Group is the project architect, with engineering work by CJW Transportation Consultants LLC, Pinnacle Design Consultants LLC and CJD Engineering LLC.
