H Design Group LLC is project architect for a $3.1 million Diventures scuba-training center in eastern Iowa. Officials say the new Diventures design will become the blueprint for future locations across the Midwest in providing year-round dive and swim activities for all ages and abilities. It also aims to expand the company’s community engagement in education, research and conservation. Estes Construction (Davenport, Iowa) is general contractor, with engineering work by Shoemaker & Haaland (Coralville, Iowa), civil; J&M Engineering LLC, structural; Steve Ford Landscape Architecture (Coralville, Iowa), landscape; and Interpres Building Solutions LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The project is expected to be completed in August.
