Ruby slippers from 'The Wizard of Oz' hit auction block

A pair of ruby slippers worn by Judy Garland in “The Wizard of Oz” are up for sale in an auction.

Online bidding is slated to be held through Dec. 7, according to Heritage Auctions in Dallas.

The Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, is among those vying for the slippers. The slippers were on loan to the museum when they were stolen in 2005, and they were recovered by the FBI in 2018.
