The upcoming film, "Killers of the Flower Moon," is slated to have a touch of Springfield.
Director Martin Scorsese's team has purchased around 60 items to date at Relics Antique Mall, 2015 W. Battlefield Road, to be used as props in the movie, according to a news release.
"He has made purchases on several different dates at Relics for the movie set," said Beverly Robb, Relics owner, in the release regarding a set design and procurement director who was working for Scorsese and who reportedly visited the store. "He has bought everything from furniture to bottles."
The value of the purchases was not disclosed in the release, and Robb could not be reached for comment by deadline.
Set to be released this year, "Killers of the Flower Moon" stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons and Lily Gladstone in a story about members of the Osage tribe being murdered in the 1920s, according to the film's IMDB page.
The movie is being produced in Oklahoma, according to the release.
Spanning 90,000 square feet, Relics has antiques and other items offered by clients who rent booths.
