Regulators probe Trump media venture

Federal regulators are examining a deal that would bring President Donald Trump's new social media company to the stock market.

Trump Media & Technology Group announced over the weekend it lined up $1 billion in investments from a group of unnamed institutional investors.

Trump Media separately announced the hiring of Rep. Devin Nunes, R-California, as the company's CEO.
