O'Reilly Automotive Inc.'s (Nasdaq: ORLY) stock has hit multiple 52-week highs in recent days ahead of the company's quarterly investor call.
The Springfield-based auto parts retailer's newest high of $593.42 per share came this morning. The stock first beat its previous 52-week high of $568.63 per share – set May 10 – on June 30, and shares have climbed steadily since.
O'Reilly Automotive's second quarter earnings are scheduled to be released July 28, followed the day after by a conference call to discuss the results, according to a news release. During the first quarter, the company posted a 67% increase in earnings to $501.6 million on revenue of $3.1 billion, a 25% jump.
ORLY stock has been recommended as a "buy" during the past week by Investor's Business Daily and Zacks Equity Research, among other analysts.
The stock's 52-week low is $417.26 per share.
