Artistree Pottery LLC
After a construction delay pushed back its start by a few months, Artistree Pottery LLC opened Sept. 18 in the Rountree neighborhood. Husband and wife Bo and Rachel Barks own the paint-your-own pottery shop at 1423 E. Cherry St., Ste. 103, which is in a renovated, nearly century-old Spanish Mission-style building. Ross Construction Group LLC was general contractor for the building renovation project, while Red Rock Renovations LLC handled infill work. Rachel Barks declined to disclose startup costs or the three-year lease rate with Pickwick and Cherry LLC. Artistree Pottery is the first business ownership venture for Barks, who has 20 years of experience as a freelance interior designer. The shop has private classes, with pieces on display available for purchase. Special events, including baby showers and birthday parties, also are offered, with drinks available on-site. Pottery costs range from $12-$80, but most fall within $20-$30, she said.
Hours: 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and Sunday and Monday by reservation.

Accounting Tax & Management Services LLC
The Marshfield office of Springfield-based Accounting Tax & Management Services LLC moved to a new home May 1 at 1350 Spur Drive, Ste. 240. Now located in the Marshfield Center, the office previously operated at 222 S. Crittenden St., where it opened in January 2019, said company owner Kerri Cuff. The three-employee office, led by manager Marissa Ganzer, relocated to 750 square feet in formerly vacant space in the shopping center. Relocation costs were roughly $3,000, Cuff said, declining to disclose lease terms with Marshfield Center Inc. The company originated in 1994 out of Cuff’s home, and has since also added offices in Springfield and El Dorado Springs. Its services include bookkeeping, payroll, tax returns, LLC setup, tax consulting and U.S. Small Business Administration loan proposals. Cuff said while the Marshfield office is only open two days a week, the employees work Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Springfield branch, as she uses those days for continuing education webinars.

Creation Station Design Studio
A retail site for a formerly home-based graphic and sign design company was launched June 6 in Branson at 3265 Falls Parkway, Ste. G. The venture, which does business as Creation Station Design Studio, was started in 2005 as Undercut Graphic and Sign LLC, said Tony Crumrine, who co-owns the business with Ken Moss. The owners are on a three-year lease for $1,250 per month with J.W. Franklin Co. Creation Station operates in a 1,500-square-foot space in the Falls Shopping Center. Crumrine said startup costs for the shop were around $75,000, if including design and printing equipment the two have invested in over the years. He said customers use the store’s design stations to create customized art for items, including clothing, bags and drinkware, for novelty or commercial use. Designs are printed in-house and the shop also produces signs and banners. Most products in stock for design are priced from $5-$45, he said.
