417 Cocktails
A year after debuting inside another Springfield shop, 417 Cocktails LLC moved Sept. 8 to its own brick-and-mortar space. The store sells its kits for cocktails and mocktails at 211 S. Market Ave., Ste. 103, in the Union Biscuit Warehouse. Owner Mandi Fritz said she’s spent the last year subleasing space and selling her kits inside 417 Charcuterie LLC at 2672 S. Glenstone Ave. in Brentwood Center South. Kits include syrups, garnishes, bitters and recipes. Fritz said relocation and renovation costs were $20,000, and she signed a two-year lease for an undisclosed rate with Union Biscuit Warehouse LLC. Aside from the drink kits, the 1,300-square-foot shop carries cocktail accessories, such as muddlers, bloody mary and martini mixes, stuffed olives, syrups and pickled vegetables. She’s in the process of acquiring a liquor license to sell bottled alcohol on-site. Fritz previously owned home-based dessert business Sweets and Eats LLC for about 10 years before starting 417 Cocktails.

7 Brew Coffee
After establishing its presence in Springfield last year, Fayetteville, Arkansas-based 7 Brew Coffee added its first shop in Lebanon on Aug. 8. The 7 Brew at 1081 S. Jefferson Ave. is the fourth shop in the Ozarks for brothers Chris and Brandon Sebald and friend Larry Wilson, who are company franchisees via Brew Crew LLC. Chris Sebald said Lebanon’s proximity to Springfield attracted the franchisees to open their newest 510-square-foot coffee stand, which employs 50. He declined to disclose startup costs. The company debuted in the Queen City in December 2021 at 2317 N. Glenstone Ave., followed by two additional shops at 1455 W. Battlefield Road and 2970 E. Sunshine St. The shop has dual drive-thru lanes with a menu including iced and hot coffee, shakes, smoothies, energy drinks, teas and Italian sodas. Prices range $2-$7. Sebald said 7 Brew plans to continue expansion plans in several other undisclosed southwest Missouri areas in the next several months.

Under Armour Factory House
A Branson outlet store for Baltimore, Maryland-based sports apparel retailer Under Armour Inc. (NYSE: UAA) relocated July 20 to its original location at 300 Tanger Blvd., Ste. 210, in Tanger Outlets Branson. Curtis Wheatley, store manager for Under Armour Factory House, said the company invested roughly $2 million in shop expansion and renovations. The store temporarily moved in March to Suite 106 in the outlet mall to accommodate the work, which more than doubled its Branson footprint to 15,000 square feet. Wheatley declined to disclose lease terms. The 75-employee store, which opened in Tanger Outlets Branson in 2010, sells men’s, women’s and children’s athletic apparel, such as tank tops, workout T-shirts, sweatpants and leggings, as well as footwear and accessories, including backpacks, duffel bags and water bottles.
