Nixa-based custom label manufacturer Ample Labels has been acquired.

Resource Label Group LLC, of Franklin, Tennessee, purchased Ample Industries Inc., dba Ample Labels, for undisclosed terms, according to a news release issued late last month.

“Partnering with Resource Label will provide the support and services needed for our growing customer base,” said David Menzies, who founded Ample in 1968, in the release. “As part of Resource Label Group, we are ensuring our customers always have access to key capabilities that drive innovation in the packaging industry.”

Menzies and Natalie Menzies-Spradlin, the company's president, are staying on board. Ample is keeping its name as a Resource Label Group subsidiary. Ample had 63 employees as of late 2017.

"We are thrilled to welcome David, Natalie and the talented team at Ample Labels to the Resource Label family," said Mike Apperson, president and CEO of Resource Label Group, in the release. "We embrace their commitment to preserving a creative company culture and share their passion for continually exceeding customer expectations.”

Ample Labels is the 21st acquisition for Resource Label Group. It has 20 manufacturing centers in North America making labels for food, beverage, chemical, household, personal care and other products.
