Springfield-based Next Level Solutions is growing via acquisition.
The insurance technology provider announced the purchase of Ozark-based Root Signa LLC. The financial terms of the deal, which closed Sept. 30, were not disclosed in a news release.
Root Signa works with the BriteCore insurance platform for the property and casualty industry.
"We have built a reputation in the core P&C systems market and have begun to diversify our offerings," Next Level Solutions Chief Operating Officer Michael Smith said in the release. "NLS will be able to apply the breadth of our solution delivery teams and processes to this technology, enabling us to fully serve clients in this space."
Root Signa owner Thomas Johns continues to serve his client base as part of the deal.
Next Level Solutions ranked No. 1 this year on Springfield Business Journal's Dynamic Dozen list of the fastest-growing local companies. Next Level reported 2021 revenue of $32.6 million, marking three-year revenue growth of 394%. The company provides software services to insurance carriers in the property and casualty market.
A pair of area medical colleges that received state grant funding in the fall are now investing the funds toward technology and new programs with the intent of attracting more students to the nursing profession.
