Banking and Finance
Central Bank of the Ozarks promoted Greg Ritchie to director of business banking. He most recently was business development officer for the company and has more than 20 years of financial industry experience. The company also promoted Tyler Reid to retail officer and banking center manager at the Glen Isle branch. He previously was assistant branch manager of the branch and has more than nine years of banking experience. Joel Winston was hired by the company as retail officer and banking center manager of the company’s South Campbell and James River branches. He has more than 17 years of experience in the financial industry and 18 years in retail management.

Ashlae Cook, commercial risk account manager with Ollis/Akers/Arney, was awarded the Outstanding CSR of the Year Award by The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. The award is given for outstanding service and professionalism in Missouri, and includes a $2,000 cash prize. Cook, who has worked at Ollis/Akers/Arney since 2007, is the third employee of the Springfield-based firm to receive the award since 2016.

Health Care
The Hospice Foundation of the Ozarks awarded $130,202 in grants in the first round of its 2020 grant cycle to improve end-of-life care and education. Jacob’s Ladder, a residential end-of-life care facility, received two grants: $75,000 for the facility and $4,562 for the construction of the Blanche Wong Memorial Garden. Washington University School of Medicine, Saint Louis University and the University of Missouri were selected to receive $50,000 for a series of educational bereavement support webinars titled, “Bereavement Care in the Midst of COVID Response and Beyond.” The Springfield-Greene County Library District was chosen for $640 for a virtual community education program for end-of-life issues.

Integrity Home Care and Hospice named Brad Yazell its executive director of business development. He most recently served as executive director for Hospice Compassus. Yazell is a respiratory therapist who earned a bachelor’s in health services from Missouri State University and an MBA from Louisiana State University-Shreveport.

Hospitality
O’Reilly Hospitality Management LLC appointed Brian Inman as general manager of the BigShots Golf development in northeast Springfield. He most recently was employed as the general manager of DoubleTree by Hilton in Springfield, a property owned by O’Reilly Hospitality, and previously had experience working with John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts.

Manufacturing
The Missouri Association of Manufacturers Board of Directors appointed Michael Eaton as interim executive director. He joined MAM in July as the marketing and development manager and has experience in health care marketing and communication, most recently at Jordan Valley Community Health Center. Eaton was appointed following the resignation of Kim Inman, the organization’s top executive since November 2013.

Municipal
The Missouri Public Transit Association reelected City Utilities of Springfield Director of Transit Matt Crawford to its board of directors for another term. Crawford is treasurer for the association’s board.
