Accounting
Tammy Lewis was appointed as managing director at BRS CPAs & Advisors. With more than 20 years of professional experience in taxation, trusts and estates, Lewis recently earned the certified estate planner designation.

BRS CPAs & Advisors promoted Suzanne Tester and Spencer Weller, and the company hired Rachel Wilson. Tester, who was promoted to senior accountant, has a bachelor’s and master’s in accounting from Missouri State University. Weller was promoted to supervisor and has a business administration bachelor’s in accounting and finance from Drury University. Joining the firm as bookkeeper is Wilson, who has a bachelor’s in entrepreneurship and business management from Stephens College.

Banking & Finance
Jennifer Reeves joined Mid-Missouri Bank as a commercial lender and vice president. A Missouri Southern State University graduate, Reeves has more than 28 years of banking industry experience.

Branson Bank promoted Lyndi Carnelison to vice president and marketing officer, a position through which she continues to oversee the company’s marketing department. A Branson Bank employee since 2006, Carnelison has a bachelor’s in graphic arts from College of the Ozarks.

Health Care
Mercy Hospital Springfield ranked No. 4 and CoxHealth tied for No. 11 in Missouri on U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 list of the best hospitals nationwide. The report recognizes 504 regional hospitals in 49 states and 95 metropolitan areas that have demonstrated superior outcomes.

Nonprofit
Debbie Dance Uhrig was appointed as executive director at 4 Ozarks Seniors, a nonprofit that assists older adults with health care and social resources in Stone and Taney counties. Most recently supervisor of OACAC’s Stone County neighborhood center, Uhrig has a bachelor’s in music education from Hannibal-LaGrange University and a master’s in education from Baker University.

Harmony House announced the selection of Kirstyn Walker as assistant executive director. With a bachelor’s in theater from the University of Oregon and a master’s in social work from Missouri State University, Walker most recently served as community relations representative for Healthy Blue Missouri.

Five people joined the board at the History Museum on the Square Inc. They are Loren Broaddus, social studies instructor at Greenwood Laboratory School; Beth Guyton, a consultant with a master’s in industrial and organizational psychology; Stuart Lipscomb, president at Pioneer Outdoor LLC; Ken McClure, former Springfield mayor; and Brian Tyndall, general manager for Mid-West Family Springfield.

Tourism & Hospitality
The Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows, owned by Myer Hospitality, received the Choice Hotels Owners Council’s Property of Excellence Award. Honorees must operate within the top 3% of their brand, and the award factors how likely guests are to recommend hotels to others.
