Banking & Finance
Guaranty Bank hired Lisa McGhee as treasury management sales officer. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, McGhee brings more than 18 years of financial services experience to her role at Guaranty Bank.

Arvest Bank’s 14th annual Million Meals campaign raised $7,422 for Ozarks Food Harvest. The funds will provide the equivalent of 37,111 meals, officials say.

Education
Evangel University appointed Andy Forman as its first director of worship experience. Most recently worship pastor at Access Church in Lakeland, Florida, Forman has master’s degrees in divinity and ministerial leadership and a bachelor’s in ministerial leadership from Southeastern University.

Health Care
Mariah Hollabaugh, director of pharmacy at Citizens Memorial Hospital, earned the certified pharmacy executive leader credential from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Hollabaugh is among 107 pharmacists nationwide to be awarded the credential, which recognizes professional excellence, the ability to lead people and work on behalf of the pharmacy enterprise.

Government
The Springfield-Greene County Library District Board of Trustees selected its 2024-25 officers. They are President Stacey Penney; Vice President Aaron Jones; Treasurer Christopher Bozarth; Secretary James Nevins; and Past President Rachael Morrow.

Law
Abe McGull of The McGull Law Firm LLC was selected for induction into the 48th annual Hall of Fame at the Manship School of Mass Communication at Louisiana State University. McGull, who also is a member of Springfield City Council, is scheduled to be honored in October for achieving success in his career. McGull graduated from LSU in 1983.

Nonprofit
The Arc of the Ozarks added Matt Newport, Dr. Luke Van Kirk and Lt. Bryan Welch to its board of directors. Newport owns Springfield Auto Pros; Van Kirk is the founder and CEO of Command Family Medicine PC; and Welch is the lieutenant of the crimes against persons section within the Criminal Investigations Division of the Springfield Police Department.

Utilities
Kyle McClure, government relations director for City Utilities of Springfield, was recognized with the Alan H. Richardson Statesmanship Award during the American Public Power Association’s National Conference in San Diego, California. The award honors leaders for their work to achieve consensus on national issues that are important to public power utilities. A CU employee for 25 years, McClure has chaired the Missouri Public Utility Alliance’s legislative committee for the last 19 years and PowerPAC for the last six years.

City Utilities of Springfield selected the members of its 2024-25 Citizens’ Advisory Council.
