Accounting
FORVIS LLP promoted Josh Clark, Becca Faulconer and Chandler Myers to senior associate II positions, Kim Harp to a senior consultant II, and Erica Barnett and Kaytlan Uhlman to senior advisor I roles. Clark and Faulconer work in auditing, and each has a bachelor’s in accounting – Clark from Evangel University and Faulconer from Drury University. Working in tax compliance, Myers holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Missouri Southern State University. Harp provides accounting and payroll services and holds a bachelor’s in accounting and a master’s in business administration from Missouri State University. Barnett and Uhlman handle financial and estate planning services and each has a bachelor’s from MSU – Barnett in accounting and Uhlman in financial planning.

FORVIS also made a few senior-level promotions: Tricia Robbins to associate, Jarrett Paoni to adviser and Levi Anderson to consultant. Robbins handles tax planning, accounting and compliance, with a bachelor’s in business administration and a master of accountancy from MSSU. Paoni works on the private client team and holds a bachelor’s in finance from MSU. With a bachelor’s in accounting from MSU, Anderson provides consulting and financial reporting services.

Education
Tim Francka, of Bolivar, was elected vice chair of MSU’s Board of Governors with a term beginning Jan. 1, 2024. He’s worked for Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation since 1989, currently as the administrative director of long-term care, and also is a board director for the Missouri Health Care Association and the Missouri delegate to the American Health Care Association. Francka holds a bachelor’s in finance and general business from MSU.

Engineering
Toth and Associates Inc. hired engineers Jason Fontaine, Ryne Jackson and Sean Collier. Fontaine, a professional engineer with 23 years of experience in the electrical/utility industry, works in the planning department and holds a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois. Jackson, a professional engineer, and Collier, an engineering intern, work in the civil department and both have bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering – Jackson from University of Kansas and Collier from University of Missouri.

Health Care
Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation received a $5,000 gift from the CMH Auxiliary board of directors for the Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center at CMH. The funds will help provide cancer patients with free services, including dental care, gas for transportation, groceries and nutritional supplements.

Nonprofit
Springfield Community Gardens received a $500,000 grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The funds go toward educating communities about sustainable, organic food production. It was one of six organizations selected in Missouri and the only one in southwest Missouri.

Service
Jan-Pro of Southwest Missouri named Tammy Mast as regional director for southwest Missouri. She works in development for the franchise company and oversees recruiting, certifying and coaching the franchisees in its cleaning and disinfecting unit.
