Banking and Finance
Central Trust Co. promoted Justin Setser to vice president and relationship manager, Matthew Suarez to assistant vice president and portfolio manager and Will Carter to assistant vice president of marketing. In the financial services industry since 2008, Setser provides estate and financial planning, insurance, investment and tax strategies to clients. Suarez helps clients build a portfolio to meet their needs while minimizing ris . Carter serves the Missouri and Kansas area for Central Trust by developing and executing marketing strategies, along with leading company efforts to introduce new technology to the client experience.

Construction
ABC Supply Co. Inc. named Zach Willard branch manager. He joined the company in 2011 as an inside sales associate and has served on its National Response Team.

Nabholz Corp. named Michael Parker regional president for the northwest Arkansas and central Missouri territories. He joined the company in 2006 to lead preconstruction services in central Arkansas and has 27 years of industry experience.

Distribution
NewStream Enterprises LLC promoted Tori Trtan to quality manager. She started with the company in 2010 as a packager and worked as a research and development specialist, internal auditor and quality analyst. Trtan now oversees production quality, rework specialists and quality control analysts, and coordinates manufacturing launches for new or revised products.

Education
Drury University English emeritus professor and author Resa Willis won the 2019 Ella Dickey Literacy Award at the Missouri Cherry Blossom Festival in Marshfield. The award is presented to six national authors who have contributed to the preservation of history. Willis received the award for her biography, “FDR and Lucy: Love and Friends.”

Erica Harris, an assistant professor of biology at Evangel University, received the 2019 Orville & Jewel Mills Young Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching, Scholarship and Service for at the college’s 61st annual commencement ceremony. The award is given to outstanding professors who are less than 45 years of age. A 1995 Evangel graduate, Harris has worked at the school since 1998.

Entertainment
Shepherd of the Hills Adventure Park in Branson was voted America’s Best Aerial Adventure Park by a USA Today national public poll. Its zipline tours and ropes courses helped place it at the top of the 20-ranked attractions.

Health Care
Easter Seals Midwest hired Tec Chapman as chief program officer. He previously served as deputy director of the division of developmental disabilities at the Missouri Department of Mental Health and coordinator of service demonstrations at the Institute for Human Development at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He most recently worked as the executive director for Services for Independent Living in Columbia.

Government
Rep. Craig Fishel, R-Springfield, was named Freshman Legislator of the Year for Advocacy for Local Government for his efforts to promote policies addressing issues important to municipal and county governments. He represents the southeast portion of Springfield and Greene County.

Municipal
The city of Nixa won the Innovation Award from the Missouri Municipal League for its staff Think Tank. Nixa’s program objectives were to create organizational buy-in from staff, facilitate leadership development of staff in the talent pipeline and develop solutions to complex internal challenges. It is the third year in a row Nixa has won in the large city category.
