Arvest Bank’s mortgage division and Arvest Central Mortgage Co. were recognized with the Fannie Mae Servicer Total Achievement and Rewards Performer designation for 2019.

The STAR Program defines industry standards and practices, measured on investor reporting, general servicing, solution delivery and timeline management.

Health Care
Dr. Kurt Bravata of Citizens Memorial Hospital was named a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. He joined CMH in 2013 and currently practices family medicine, geriatric care and addiction recovery at Dallas County Family Medical Center in Buffalo and at Southside Behavioral Health in Bolivar.

Command Family Medicine PC added Dr. Drew Haney to its direct primary care staff. He completed graduate studies in cellular biology and undergraduate studies in organismic biology at Northeastern State University in Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016. Haney will be based at Command Family Medicine’s new Branson clinic scheduled to open in the fall.

Faith Community Health was selected by the Taney County Health Department as the 2019 Public Health Champion.

The award is determined by TCHD staff on criteria of leading public health efforts, collaboration with other organizations, education and promotion of resident well-being, and use of creative solutions.

Education
Evangel University placed in the top 12 out of 387 teams in the 2020 Enactus USA Online Exposition, with two students, Lauryn Gore and Lauren Masters, earning individual Enactus Service Leadership Awards.

Gore is a 2020 business graduate from Ozark, and Masters is a senior management major from Platte City. It was the second year in a row the university advanced to the semifinal round.

Human Resources
Tomo Drug Testing promoted Erin Hoerman to vice president of operations from operations manager.

She succeeds Angela Garrison, who was promoted to president in August 2019.

Hoerman is responsible for managing a team coordinating all aspects of program administration and oversees other aspects of drug testing administration. Before joining Tomo, Hoerman worked as manager of Horrmann Meats.

Insurance
Connell Insurance Inc. added six new staff members: Randy Brashers and Nathan Connell, commercial insurance consultants; Mark Frye, employee benefits insurance consultant; Hayley Hutchins, human resources consultant; Tara Newton, commercial account manager; and Mindy Teeter, accountant. Brashers has 26 years’ experience with ITEC Attractions Inc.

Connell held numerous positions at eShipping LLC before joining Connell Insurance.

Frye is a retired command sergeant major with 22 years of Army Reserve active duty experience.

Hutchins has 20 years of human resources experience. Newton has a combined 19 years of experience in the mortgage and timeshare liquidation industries.

Teeter earned a bachelor’s with a focus in accounting from Missouri State University.
