Accounting
The Whitlock Co. promoted Olivia Cole to manager and Jay Logal to partner practicing in its Joplin office. Cole has worked for the firm since 2014 and holds a bachelor’s in management and accounting from Drury University. An employee of the firm since 2008, Logal also has 13 years’ experience with Myers, Baker, Rife & Denham CPAs and holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Missouri Southern State University.

Architecture
Jacob Nentrup of BRP Architects became a Missouri-licensed architect after the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards’ exam and completing the required experience hours. He’s worked at BRP since 2016 and holds a Master of Architecture from Drury.

Emily Whitty of The Vecino Group earned her Missouri architect license. She joined the firm in 2021 and has worked five years in the profession.
Banking & Finance

Commerce Trust Co. promoted Ashley Sigrest to a private client adviser. With 12 years of financial services experience, she’s worked eight years for the firm and holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Drury.

Old Missouri Bank added Portland Lewter as branch manager in Ash Grove. She previously managed a Simmons Bank branch in Lockwood and holds a bachelor’s in economics from California State University.

Energy
Solera Energy LLC hired master electrician Lee Beaman. He’s worked the past nine years with Sechler Electric and previously owned and operated Beaman Electric.

Law
Retired Husch Blackwell LLP partner Bill Hart was among 31 recipients of the 2022 Icon Award from Missouri Lawyers Weekly. The awards honor attorneys age 60 and older for their exemplary careers and longstanding commitment to the legal community. Hart began working in the field in 1970 and built his practice in business and real estate law, overseeing and negotiating several mergers and working on property developments for John Q. Hammons.

Manufacturing
NewStream Enterprises LLC achieved 4 million safe hours without a single lost-time incident. It was recorded over the last 11 years.

Nonprofit
Habitat for Humanity of Springfield promoted Daniel Schekorra to director of marketing and communication. He joined the organization in 2021 as communication manager and has seven years of experience in marketing, communication strategy, advertising, special events, fund development and nonprofit administration. Schekorra holds a bachelor’s in marketing from Missouri State University and a master’s in marketing from Texas A&M University.

Rotary Club of Springfield Southeast installed Lori Johnson Murawski of TelComm Credit Union as 2022-23 president. Other newly appointed officers are President-elect Michael Wehrenberg of Wehrenberg Design; Treasurer Greg Beck, retired from O’Reilly Automotive; Secretary Steve Brooks, retired from Central Bank in Springfield; Club Service Director Meredith Bosso of KPM CPAs & Advisors; Community Service Director Margo Spilde, an author; International Service Director Jason Hynson of Victory Mission & Ministry; New Generations Director Ashley Walden of Mercy Health Foundation; and Vocational Service Director Candice Reed of U.S. Bank Private Wealth Management.

John Horton of CIO Consulting was named 2022-23 Rotary District Governor for No. 6080. The district comprises 56 Rotary clubs in central and southern Missouri, including the Springfield Southeast club where Horton is a member.
