Architecture
BRP Architects design team member Nicole Shaul passed the Missouri architect registration examination and earned her license to practice architecture in the state. Shaul joined BRP in 2016 after graduating from Drury University with a master of architecture.

Banking
Legacy Bank & Trust Co. promoted Chief Lending Officer Brett Magers to president. John Everett previously held the president and CEO titles, and he’s maintaining the chief executive role. Magers has worked in banking for 15 years, spending 10 years with Legacy Bank. He has a bachelor’s in finance and an MBA from Missouri State University, and also graduated from the Colorado School of Banking.

Guaranty Bank promoted Linda Revie to loan administration manager and Jackie Humphreys to the newly created centralized document processing and support manager role. Revie, previously the information technology applications manager, has worked 40 years in banking, including a previous stint as Guaranty Bank’s loan administration manager. With 20 years of experience in accounting, loan review and retail banking, Humphreys joined Guaranty Bank in 2013.

Education
Drury University announced six promotions: Shannon Cuff to associate provost of adult, online and graduate education, effective in January; Natalie Precise to interim dean of the School of Education and Child Development; Sarah Nenninger to executive director of marketing and communications; Aaron Jones as interim executive vice president of evening and online programs; Brandon Gammill to vice president of facilities operations; and Val Serafimov to vice president of technology services. Cuff, who succeeds the retiring Regina Waters, previously was dean of the School of Education and Child Development and has worked for Drury since 2017. Precise, a Drury faculty member since 2013, has served in university leadership as faculty governance co-chair, Drury Fusion assessment co-coordinator and faculty advising fellow. Nenninger, who succeeds the retiring Wendy Flanagan, led the rebranding of the evening and online programs, Drury GO, and was interim marketing and communications director. Jones maintains his roles as executive vice president for university relations and general counsel, while overseeing Drury GO until a permanent hire is made. With Drury since 1997, Gammill oversees the maintenance, custodial, grounds and HVAC teams on campus. Serafimov joined the school’s tech services team in 2000.

Law
Six Strong-Garner-Bauer PC attorneys were selected to the 2020 Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists. Steven Garner, Jeff Bauer, Neil Chanter, Chandler Gregg and Grant Rahmeyer were named Super Lawyers, while Nick Smart received Rising Star recognition in personal injury law. The annual selections include peer nominations and evaluations, as well as independent research.

Management
Camp Bow Wow Springfield promoted Carsen Baron to area director overseeing both Springfield locations. She joined the company in 2014, while in college, and worked full time as brand ambassador after graduating with a child and family development degree from Missouri State University. Baron most recently managed Camp Bow Wow Springfield East.

Nonprofit
The Hand in Hand Multicultural Center received a $20,000 grant from the Community Foundation of the Ozarks’ diversity, equity and inclusivity grant program. It was among $88,250 approved for 16 organizations. The next largest sums went to United Way of the Ozarks, Ujima Language and Literacy, and The Doula Foundation. Hand in Hand plans to use the funds to assist 30 families in the immigration and employment process through its Turning Potential into Reality initiative.
