Agriculture
Duane Kaiser, of Monett, was elected to a two-year term on the Missouri Farm Bureau board of directors, succeeding the retiring Lane Baxter, of Springfield. Kaiser is a retired agriculture education teacher and represents the bureau’s seventh district in southwest Missouri.

Bill Messick, of Marshfield, was appointed to the Missouri Farm Bureau’s Promotion and Education Committee. He represents the bureau’s seventh district and helps develop, implement and evaluate projects and programs that promote agriculture.

Architecture
Paragon Architecture LLC’s Willard Intermediate School-South project was selected for publication in the American School & University 2019 Architectural Portfolio. The publication selection honors education design excellence.

Banking and Finance
Central Bank of the Ozarks added Gwendolyn Morris as retail officer and banking center manager at the North Kansas branch. With 14 years of experience at Central Bank, most recently as a banking center assistant manager in Jefferson City, she is responsible for managing branch retail sales and operations.

Engineering
Justin Andrus-Bearden was awarded the inaugural Bridging the Gap scholarship from Miller Engineering PC. A graduate of Missouri University of Science & Technology with a civil engineering degree, he is an engineer in training after completing internships with Miller Engineering, Storee Construction Co. and Advanced Concrete Technologies LLC.

Nonprofit
Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks promoted Allyson Tuckness to the new position of chief operating officer. She has worked with the organization since 2015, previously as public relations coordinator and director of community engagement.

Real Estate
The Tri-Lakes Board of Realtors named Gerken & Associates Inc. real estate agent Brent Sager as 2019 Realtor of the Year and Matthew Brock as Rookie of the Year. Sager was selected out of more than 400 agents for the award. Brock of Gerken & Associates was recognized for making outstanding contributions in the local community and real estate industry after joining the board within the last two years.

Gerken & Associates added Tricia Jackson as a broker/salesperson and Jessica Brock as a real estate agent. Jackson is licensed in Missouri and Oklahoma. Brock, who has an MBA from Missouri State University, most recently worked as a senior technical product manager at Jack Henry & Associates Inc.

Sales
Pearson-Kelly Office Products LLC was selected by ENX Magazine as a 2019 Elite Dealer for the fourth straight year. Out of 137 companies, dealers were selected on criteria including marketing prowess, digital transformation, leadership, work environment, technology, customer service and charitable endeavors.

Technology
BriteCore elected John Cavoores to its board of directors. With 40 years’ experience as a CEO and board member, he has served as president and CEO of OneBeacon Insurance Co., managing director of White Mountains Insurance Holdings, president of AIG subsidiary National Union Fire Insurance Co. and managing director of Chubb Group of Insurance Cos.
