Arvest Bank added Anne E. McGregor to its local board of directors. She has served as chair of The Neighbor Co. since its inception in 2016, overseeing Herschend Family Entertainment Corp.’s charitable gifts and working with family members to direct and facilitate charitable investments. McGregor also serves as interim executive director for Faith Community Health, which serves under-resourced men and women in Stone and Taney counties, and is involved with the Skaggs Foundation and Silver Dollar City Foundation.

Central Bank in Springfield hired Rob Turner as a senior vice president-commercial loan officer and Bryan Horton as a vice president-commercial loan officer. Turner primarily works in the Republic and Springfield markets, and he has 25 years of experience in the financial and lending industry. Horton is responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships.

Central Bank promoted Teri Cantwell to senior vice president-director of human resources, Corey Harmon and Missy Montgomery to senior vice presidents-commercial loan officers, Kendal Dingus to vice president-commercial loan officer, and Tyler Phillips to assistant vice president-commercial loan officer. With nine years’ experience in HR, Cantwell is responsible for overseeing all personnel policies, programs and practices for Central Bank. She’s also a former U.S. Olympian. Harmon has worked in lending 10 years and holds a bachelor’s in administrative management and an MBA from Missouri State University. With 25 years of financial experience, Montgomery serves Marshfield and surrounding areas. Dingus joined the bank in 2005 as a mortgage lender. Phillips has 14 years of banking experience. 

Education
Colleges of Distinction selected Southwest Baptist University in the general category for 2022-23, one of nine in Missouri, as well as in the Christian colleges category. Schools are chosen after meeting four distinctions: engaged students, great teaching, vibrant community and successful outcomes based on research and interviews.

Missouri State University’s Alumni Association selected four new board members. Chosen for three-year terms were Caitlin Schaefer, a 2018 graduate, who works as relationship management associate for Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC; George Winston, 1993, the director of admissions for Washington University in St. Louis; and Mark Campbell, 1986, a senior vice president at First State Community Bank. Student Katelyn Palmer, 2024, president of the Student Alumni Association, joined the 24-member board for a one-year term.

Health Care
Citizens Memorial Hospital/Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation appointed Michelle Boehne as administrative director of clinics and Steven Retherford as director of facility design and construction. Boehne has 15 years of health care experience in clinical operations and administrative capacities. In her new role, she has administrative oversight of CMH rural health clinics and specialty clinics, ensuring regulatory compliance and providing administrative support to clinic-based physicians. Retherford, a licensed architect, has 30 years of architecture and facility design experience and had a previous six-year stint with CMH as director of plant facilities. He returns to oversee internal construction projects and new facility design.

Human Resources
Sharon McElwrath joined Human Resource Advantage LLC as a human resources adviser assistant. She has 10 years of experience in writing and administrative services.
