Mercy Springfield Communities has hired a new chief operating officer after the former executive in that role was promoted earlier this year.
Taylor Warwick starts as COO today, according to a news release. She most recently held the same job title at Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee's Summit.
“I’ve been hyperfocused on helping develop programs and delivery systems within health care that ensure patient care is accessible and convenient. That’s what our patients need and deserve, and it’s one of the core principles that attracted me to Mercy,” Warwick said in the release. "Mercy has a reputation for delivering high quality care and high value care that’s known not just within Springfield but across the country, and I’m excited to be part of that mission."
Warwick succeeds John Myers, who was named president of Mercy Springfield Communities on April 1. Myers took over for David Argueta, who was appointed to a regional leadership role at Mercy, according to past reporting.
Warwick's LinkedIn profile indicates she's worked at Saint Luke's Health System since 2013.
