New bank branch coming to Branson West

Posted online

Branson Bank is planning its first full-service branch in Branson West.

Officials are slated to break ground this fall at 17035 State Highway 13 after receiving regulatory approval to operate a branch in the city, according to a news release.

“With the addition of our state-of-the-art retail products and services, we plan to add several community members at the new location,” said Eric Simkins, Branson Bank's vice president of commercial lending, in the release. “We will continue to build relationships on trust while delivering creative, affordable financial solutions to the Stone County community.”

Simkins said via email the planning process continues for the 3,000- to 5,000-square-foot branch. A general contractor has not yet been selected, and the budget hasn't been finalized, he said.

Branson Bank plans to install a temporary, modular facility at the site in mid-December, Simkins said.

When the temporary facility opens, Branson Bank plans to close a lending center it operates in Branson West at 16208 State Highway 13, Ste. 103A, said Halley Fleming, chief marketing officer.

Branson Bank has $330 million in assets, according to the release. Its website lists four branches, along with the lending operation in Branson West.
