MU employees protest proposed change to benefits

University of Missouri employees on Saturday protested a proposed change to their benefits.

The board may vote in September on a policy that would give hourly and salaried employees fewer PTO days, with the condition that they do not have to designate a reason for using them, according to the Columbia Missourian.

Paid time off currently is divided by category for vacation, sickness, personal and holidays.
