Critical Minerals and Materials for Advanced Energy Tech Hub, a Missouri technology hub, is slated to receive $29 million in federal funding.
The money is part of $210 million awarded by the U.S. Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration to six designated tech hubs nationwide.
CM2AE, which is led by the University of Missouri System, aims to increase south-central Missouri's standing as a critical minerals processor for battery technology.
