Millwood Golf and Racquet Club was the top recipient in Greene County's latest round of COVID-19 stimulus grants.
The 3700 E. Millwood Drive golf course in Ozark was chosen for a $30,000 grant, according to a news release. It was part of $317,376 approved late last week by the Greene County Commission in the small-business category.
The commission now has approved more than $27 million in Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act grants. The county has until year's end to distribute the remaining $34.4 million in federal stimulus funds.
Other top grant recipients announced late last week include:
• $25,000 for Select Brands LLC;
• $17,000 for the Commercial Street Community Improvement District;
• $15,000 for Cutter's Inc., dba Supercuts; and
• $10,000 apiece for Big Pixl, Fantastic Caverns, Mpark LLC, dba Spfd Parking Co., and Springfield Side Kick Dog Training LLC.
