Mid-Missouri Bank promoted from within to fill a vacant community bank president role.

Craig Millington took on the top position overseeing the Republic market effective Jan. 4, according to a news release issued this morning. Company spokesperson Andrew Moore said Millington succeeded Casey Pyle. Last month, Pyle became community executive and senior vice president in Springfield for Pine Bluff, Arkansas-based Simmons First National Corp. (Nasdaq: SFNC), according to his LinkedIn profile.

In Republic, Millington oversees a market with roughly $48 million in deposits and $57 million in loans, said Moore.

“Republic is booming and its growth creates an opportunity for me, and our team, to prove that Mid-Missouri Bank is still the best community bank in the Ozarks," Millington said in the release.

A Mid-Missouri Bank employee since December 2011, Millington most recently served as the company's director of credit analysis.

The Republic branch at 806 E. Hines St. has 13 employees, according to the release. Mid-Missouri Bank operates 13 branches in 10 communities, as well as six insurance offices in the Ozarks.

For the nine-month period that ended Sept. 30, Mid-Missouri Bank produced $5.2 million in net income, according to Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. data. That's down from $6 million during the same time period in 2019.
