Mercy Springfield Communities promoted a health care system vice president to the leader of its clinic operations.
An internal medicine physician, Dr. Jennifer McNay was selected as president of Mercy Clinic Springfield Communities. She’s spent her entire career at Mercy, starting in 1994, and most recently was a doctor and vice president of primary care, according to a news release.
“We will continue to look for new ways to provide unparalleled access and convenience, removing any barriers in helping our patients through their health challenges,” McNay said in the release.
McNay succeeds Dr. Robert Cavagnol, who exited last fall for unknown reasons, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting.
As president, McNay leads a clinic operation with nearly 700 doctors in the region, according to the release.
Last month, Craig McCoy started as the new president of Mercy Springfield Communities.
