Maryland Heights defaults on payment for ice center

The city of Maryland Heights has defaulted on a debt payment for the Centene Community Ice Center.

A bond payment to the tune of $138,338 that was due before Sept. 15 was not made.

The facility could be seized if the default is not corrected.
