A Marshfield restaurant that got its start in early 2021 is shuttering.
JnL's Restaurant announced the decision in a May 17 Facebook post. The closure is scheduled for May 22 or until inventory runs out.
"It is impossible to stay open with rising costs and availability of product and lack of staff to ensure the best quality product you deserve," owner John Martin said in the post. "We would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over this past year. I hope the very best for my wonderful staff who have stuck this through in their future endeavors."
The restaurant opened in February 2021, according to its Facebook page.
JnL's Restaurant serves sandwiches, burgers and pasta. The business operates in a standalone building, 915 S. Marshall Street, that previously was home to Sheila's Place Restaurant.
OzarksFirst.com was first to report on the closure.

Restaurants even in good times are challenging businesses. You're dealing with a perishable commodity and public-health issues, a workforce often dominated by young and inexperienced workers, and a fickle public whose tastes change.3
