Pipe and fittings manufacturer Tyler Pipe Co. is investing in its Marshfield operation to the tune of $4.9 million.
The Tyler, Texas-based company plans to add 75 jobs through the expansion, according to a news release issued late last week by the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
"The decision to expand and grow here in Marshfield, Missouri, is indicative of this community’s assets and strong partnerships that will help us achieve our goals," said Bill Kenney, general manager with Tyler Pipe and its parent company, McWane Inc., in the release.
Tyler Pipe's Marshfield facility is located in an enhanced enterprise zone, meaning the expansion project is eligible for state incentives to offset the costs of the building and land, equipment and machinery. The financial terms of the tax incentives were not disclosed in the release.
“Tyler Pipe’s expansion is right in line with Marshfield’s community growth plan to add new, high-paying jobs and expand the tax base to enhance the community infrastructure and improve the quality of life for its citizens," Marshfield Mayor Natalie McNish said in the release.
