A Kansas City engineering and design firm is planning to merge with a Pennsylvania company.
TranSystems' merger with Gannett Fleming would create a new company called Gannett Fleming TranSystems. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Officials with the companies have not yet determined where the new company's headquarters would be located.
