Judges order Trump administration to rehire fired federal workers

Two federal judges have ordered the Trump administration to rehire fired workers with probationary status.

In his ruling, Judge James Bredar of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland also put a temporary restraining order on the Trump administration to stop planned cuts.

Some 19 federal agencies that have fired workers are impacted by the judges' orders.

A similar order was submitted earlier in the day Thursday by Judge William H. Alsup of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
