Italian on the menu at Branson Landing

A multimillion-dollar renovation project has concluded at the Branson Landing with the opening of Ramata Italian.

HCW Development Co. LLC, which built and owns the outdoor retail center along Lake Taneycomo, is scheduled to host a ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony at 4 p.m. today, according to a news release. HCW also owns Ramata Italian.

Rick Huffman, president and CEO of HCW, said in the release that the company is responding to a need for Italian fine dining in Branson. Led by Executive Chef Domenic Salasso and General Manager Marion Lombardo, Ramata Italian's menu includes pastas, pizzas and fresh fish flown in from Hawaii, officials say.

"We are ecstatic to fill that need for locals and tourists in southern Missouri," Huffman said in the release.

HCW this summer announced a $2.5 million renovation of a building that previously housed Famous Dave's barbecue restaurant, which moved out of Branson Landing to the Highway 76 strip. Ramata Italian is adjacent to Guy Fieri’s Branson Kitchen and Bar, which opened last year.

The 231-seat, 7,677-square-foot Italian restaurant features a 500-bottle glass wine case, a floor-to-ceiling fireplace and a show kitchen window adjacent to a chef's table, according to the release. Reservations are requested.
