Caseyville, Illinois-based Helitech Waterproofing and Foundation Repair is adding an office in the Queen City.

Helitech and Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce officials broke ground Sept. 26 on the project at 1549 N. O'Hara Ave., near West Bypass and Division Street, according to a news release.

“By having an office and facility in Springfield, we can better position ourselves to service the continued growth and expansion across Missouri. We are so excited to officially become a member of Springfield’s growing and beautiful community," said Jason Courtney, president and owner of Helitech, in the release.

Courtney said in the release that Helitech has had employees on the ground in the greater Missouri region since 1987. Helitech spokesperson Kelcie Carroll said the company currently has five employees who are active in the Springfield area.

It's the seventh office for Helitech, which provides services such as basement and crawlspace waterproofing, as well as foundation repair and concrete leveling.

"As Helitech continues to grow both as a family and a business, having a home base in each area is crucial as it allows us to not only hire local but better serve the communities who have given us so much,” said Brett Campbell, Helitech vice president, in the release.

Carroll said the 7,000-square-foot office is slated for completion in March 2023. She declined to disclose the project cost.
