Guy Fieri restaurant opens in Branson

Guy Fieri’s Branson Kitchen and Bar opened this week, six months after it was announced.

The nearly 8,000-square-foot restaurant at Branson Landing represents a partnership between the celebrity chef — known for the “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” show on The Food Network — and Tennessee-based Face Amusement Group’s hospitality subsidiary, according to a news release.

"Branson has a long history of showing folks a great time," Fieri said in the release, referring to the tourist attraction as "one of America’s entertainment capitals."

A Face Amusement Group spokesperson said the restaurant officially opened June 16. Social distancing guidelines are being following in line with coronavirus restrictions. Reservations also are recommended due to occupancy limitations.

HCW Development Co. LLC served as general contractor for the restaurant designed by H Design Group LLC. Construction was completed in time with its June projection, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting. The space previously was occupied by Buffalo Wild Wings.

Guy Fieri’s Branson Kitchen and Bar features a menu with items including the Bacon Mac ’N’ Cheeseburger, Trash Can Nachos, wings and specialty cocktails, according to the release.

It's the latest concept in Branson for Face Amusement Group, which also has attractions including the Branson Sawmill and Mirror Maize.

Fieri is the second celebrity chef to open a restaurant at Branson Landing in the passt year. Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen opened in September 2019.
