Growth can be a Little Scary

Derek Shimeall, one of the owners with 4 by 4 Brewing Company, says he and his partners opened their brewery as a hobby and were surprised at the rapid growth they experienced. “It’s a little scary too,” Shimeall says, “because your initial debt concept was ‘x’ number and now you’ve doubled or tripled that.” Shimeall says seeing that the demand, revenue and volume are constant makes it less scary. “…If you continue to have a great product and good service, you’re gonna be fine,” he says.
