Gold Mountain promotes execs

Springfield-based telemarketing firm Gold Mountain Communications LLC conducted a trio of executive promotions.

Longtime employee Ian McGuire was named chief operating officer by owner and CEO Hank Seevers, according to a news release. Upon his promotion, McGuire announced two new vice presidents: Lucas Bench and Janell Scott.

"Ian's been with the team since the beginning," Scott said, noting the company this year is celebrating its 12th anniversary.

The transition involving McGuire was made to support the eventual retirement of Seevers, Scott added.

McGuire most recently served as senior vice president and also has past experience at the company as manager and vice president.

Scott became vice president of brand engagement and talent acquisition after previously serving as a director for the company. She's worked for the company for 11 years.

Bench was promoted to vice president of operations, according to the release. Most recently director of sales, he will continue to oversee Gold Mountain's contract programs.

Gold Mountain employs nearly 300, working out of office space at 1701 W. Sunshine St.
