The establishment was selected to receive $23,000 by the Greene County Commission, according to a news release.
It's one of 41 awards approved during the sixth round of small-business funding from the county's ARPA pool. The $372,543 in funding brings small-business ARPA grants from the county up to $3.7 million since July 2022.
Other recipients that received $15,000 or more in the funding round are Oke-Thomas & Associates Inc., at $15,000, as well as Backwoods Golf LLC and Dove Dental Group LLC, at $16,000 apiece. [Editor's note: The full list of recipients is attached with the images above.]
With its $56.9 million ARPA allocation, the commission has set aside $20.4 million for collaboration projects, $12 million for nonprofits, $10.2 million for countywide projects and $8 million for small businesses, with the remainder being held in reserves, according to past reporting. Funding is designed to support the economic response and recovery related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the commission has until 2024 to allocate the money.
