Fusion Eatz relocating in Battlefield Mall

Fusion Eatz Acai Bowls & Wraps is set to open in a new Battlefield Mall location tomorrow.

The restaurant is relocating from its spot with an exterior door on the east side of the mall to the food court.

The location at the northwest corner of the food court was previously home to London Calling Pasty Co., which relocated to the 14 Mill Market food hall in Nixa.

“We’re hoping to get more customers and visibility,” said Rima Walker, co-owner of Fusion Eatz with boyfriend Mukesh Naik, of the business that first opened in 2023.

Fusion Eatz features acai bowls and fusion bowls, which Walker describes as two foods from different cultures put together with an Indian twist.

Walker declined to disclose the startup costs or rental rate for the business, which she said is her and her boyfriend operating every day during mall hours with a couple of employees.

“We will definitely need more,” she said of the restaurant’s employee count. “Right now, we’re just starting off slow.”

Walker said the restaurant’s offerings are distinctive, with both cold acai bowls and hot fusion options.

Door Dash lists the Fusion Bowl as the most-liked option, featuring a choice of protein – beef, chicken, egg or paneer, an Indian fresh cheese – topped with fusion rice, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, masala onions, and fusion and sriracha sauce.

Also on the menu is the humorously named Con-Fusion Bowl, which features a mix of Indian-spiced chicken tikka and ground beef – not a staple of Indian fare – with paneer and egg bhurji, or spiced scrambled eggs.

A variety of fusion tacos are also on offer and are the lowest-priced items on a menu that ranges $6-$15, Walker said.
