Project description: The Walker Heights apartment complex, which is owned by Wayne Morelock, also the owner of Morelock Builders & Associates, will consist of four three-story buildings comprising 95 living units and a fitness center, according to project manager Brendan Butler with Morelock Builders & Associates. Each of the buildings will feature one- and two-bedroom standard and accessible units, with one-bedroom units roughly 600 square feet and two-bedroom units 1,100 square feet. The complex will feature a shared community room and an outdoor pool. U.S. Census data from 2020 reflected a population increase of 3.65% in Nixa over a 10-year period, with 44% of the total population renting their residences.
