Project description: Springfield Warrior Sports is building a gym just down the road from its current space on West Plainview Road. Owner Andy Mariage said the new home for the south Springfield indoor obstacle course will allow the company to expand some of its current fitness activities, such as its rock-climbing wall, parkour section and an 18-foot warped wall – made popular by the “American Ninja Warrior” televised competitions. He said the design includes a mezzanine for holding birthday parties and a waiting area for parents. Warrior Sports currently leases 5,000 square feet at 425 W. Plainview Road, Ste. 6, on a month-to-month basis.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
