Project description: Sonrise Baptist Church plans to move to a new building with a 3,200-square-foot sanctuary and seven large classrooms. A second planned phase would add 16,000 square feet on two stories for more classrooms and office space, said project architect Greg Mitchell. Located across the street from Ozark West Elementary School, crews broke ground on the project in late October. Cody Ritter of contractor Base Construction & Management said the new church also will be built with a 1,400-square-foot front drive-thru canopy.
